Case Studies
Real projects, real organisations, real results.
These four projects are a good picture of how I like to work, getting to know the organisation properly before recommending anything, planning before building, and making sure the people I leave behind can confidently run what they’ve got. The full story of each one is worth a read.
A quick note on names: some of these projects were delivered under my trading name, QUAFF Digital, so that‘s the name you’ll see in a couple of the client quotes. It was me all along...

A membership body's website, rebuilt around its members.
The Institution of Lighting Professionals had a long-established website that had grown difficult to use. I rebuilt it around a simplified structure, added eCommerce, then delivered an online course platform when Covid hit. Calls to head office dropped significantly, because members could finally find things.

Bringing 80 years of in-store expertise online.
One of Europe’s best-known aquatics centres needed its website to work as hard as its shop floor. I redesigned the site around easy product discovery for over 3,000 products, built a filterable knowledge base to bring their expertise online, and improved the path to checkout, with conversions up 66% after relaunch.

A florist's website as beautiful as the flowers, and twice as busy.
The Lily Pad needed a site that felt like the shop, creative, personal, and easy to buy from. I built an immersive, image-led eCommerce site with the complex delivery options a real florist needs, underpinned by local SEO. Wedding bookings more than doubled, from 26 a year to 58.

From a website doing nothing to a website doing the booking.
Anderton & Co’s site had sat idle for years while the practice moved on. Working from a deep discovery of what the business wanted to become, I repositioned their specialist services, wrote the copy, and built in automated client booking, so the website started managing appointments instead of the accountant.
